HūRosa is being built through many forms of contribution.
Some people are able to make a direct financial gift to the Foundation.
Some want a closer relationship with the project through Founding Circle patronage.
Others have time, skill, and practical energy to offer through hands-on service.

One Shared Vision.
Three ways to take part.
Each path supports the same larger work: preparing the land and spaces, building a living program of learning and culture, caring for the gardens, creating welcoming rooms and gathering places, and establishing a sanctuary that can serve people for many years to come.
A direct gift supports the Foundation’s public-benefit work. Founding Circle patronage offers a closer relationship with the project and selected privileges. Community Exchange recognizes practical service through contribution credits.

Make a
Gift
Offer a tax-deductible gift to the foundation and support its cultural, educational, and community-serving work.
Your gift helps create the spaces, gardens, programs, and shared infrastructure that will allow this work to serve people for years to come.

Founding Circle
Become a founding patron of HūRosa and take part in the early life of the sanctuary through financial commitment.
Founding Circle patronage includes member privileges, early access, and selected experiences as the center opens.

Hands
On
The volunteer and residency program recognizes practical service through contribution credits.
Painting, gardening, cooking, carpentry, organizing, hospitality, maintenance, and practical care all help bring this place into being.

direct giving
Make a Gift to the
Foundation
A tax-deductible donation supports the public-benefit work of the foundation: the preparation of rooms and gathering spaces, care for the land and gardens, educational and cultural programs, sacred arts and music offerings, and the practical foundations needed to welcome future participants.
Gifts of every size matter. They help establish a place where people can rest, learn, create, reconnect with what is essential, encounter living cultural traditions, and take part in a more grounded and connected way of life.
Donors may choose to be acknowledged with an engraved garden brick and recognition on the HūRosa website as Founding Contributors, or to give privately.
We will share occasional updates on the spaces, gardens, and work that each gift is helping to support as the sanctuary continues to grow.
Tree Gift

Plant a Myrtle
in the
HūRosa Gardens
Myrtle is a native Mediterranean evergreen with aromatic leaves, fragrant white flowers, dark berries, and dense foliage that can be shaped into a lasting garden border.
For thousands of years, myrtle has held a special place in Mediterranean gardens and ceremonies. In ancient Greek tradition, it was associated with Aphrodite and used in wedding wreaths, linking it with love, blessing, beauty, and the protection.
With a €270 donation, each myrtle will help create a fragrant, evergreen boundary around the gardens – offering privacy, structure, seasonal flowers, and habitat for bees and other pollinators. It is a meaningful contribution to the long-term beauty, ecology, and atmosphere of the sanctuary.

The Founding Circle
Take part in the early life of the sanctuary.
The Founding Circle brings together the people helping HūRosa take root in its earliest years. Some enter through financial patronage.
Others build toward recognition through sustained practical service. Both forms of participation help create the foundation beneath the project.
Founding Circle patronage includes selected privileges as the center opens: member gatherings, early registration, program discounts, retreat experiences, newsletter, recognition on website, and with sliver and upward a chance to position your business/project/service in the member newsletter.

Membership Terms
Founding Circle benefits are valid for one year from the date of contribution or from the date the relevant Community Exchange level is completed. Benefits are personal to the member and may not be transferred.
Each donor-path amount is a single annual Founding Circle contribution.
Retreat places, special gatherings, priority invitations, and other limited-capacity offerings require advance reservation and remain subject to availability. Complimentary retreat places include the accommodation and meals specified at each level. Travel, additional nights, excursions, and upgrades beyond the stated accommodation are not included.
At the end of the one-year membership period, continued access to annual member benefits may be renewed through ongoing participation or a new annual contribution.
The Numerical Pattern
The Founding Circle is arranged through a nine-based numerical pattern, beginning with €513 and expanding through related proportions at each level. The sequence gives contribution, participation, and growth a clear shared rhythm, with each level strengthening the whole while carrying the same underlying principle of balance, renewal, and meaningful expansion.

Community Exchange
Time is a meaningful form of generosity.
1 Point for each completed 4-hour volunteer shift (weekly events) | 6 Points fixed Community Exchange credit for completing a Weekend Volunteer Retreat |
Community Exchange recognises the practical contribution of people who help prepare HūRosa for its future life as a retreat center. It is a way to take part through reliable, hands-on service: caring for gardens, rooms, gathering spaces, and the many projects that help make the center functional, welcoming, and beautiful.
It is for people who have availability to join volunteer days or a Weekend Volunteer Retreat and who enjoy contributing alongside others. No particular experience or background is required. What matters is clear communication, respect for shared spaces, willingness to learn, and focused participation during agreed work hours.
Each verified four-hour volunteer shift earns one Community Exchange point. A completed Weekend Volunteer Retreat earns a fixed six-point Community Exchange credit, recognising the full weekend commitment of arrival, orientation, shared work, coordination, closing care, and participation in the collective rhythm of the retreat. Points are recorded and may contribute toward Founding Circle membership recognition, honouring the time, care, skill, and practical participation that help bring HūRosa to life.

A SANCTUARY BUILT TOGETHER
Every Contribution Helps Shape the Life of HūRosa.
Direct gifts, Founding Circle patronage, and Community Exchange each support HūRosa in a distinct and meaningful way.
Direct gifts strengthen the Foundation’s cultural, educational, and public-benefit work.
Founding Circle patronage offers a closer relationship with the project, together with the recognition, access, and experiences connected with each level.
Community Exchange honors hands-on participation through credits earned in the care, creation, and shared life of the sanctuary.
Together, these pathways make it possible for people to contribute through financial support, practical skill, time, care, and active participation—each helping shape the sanctuary and the community growing around it.
